Updates
Ever since the share lot size decreased from 1,000 to 100 at the start of Jan/2015, I had been trading off and on using SCB trading platform. However, because of their recent announcement of introducing a minimum commission of $10 per trade, I no longer find it feasible to continue trading because of my low capital on hand. I have since sold off all my holdings of 20+ shares (most of them were 1 lot) in early June.
Investing in the A35 Bond index is a very conservative move back when I started out my journey. As such, to continue on, I will open an Invest Saver plan to invest my idle capital into Nikko AM STI ETF (G3B.SI). The commission charge of 1% is definitely going to hurt, but buying it for the long run should yield me a better return than fixed deposits.
Look out for future updates for both plans!
